Operation HOPE founder John Hope Bryant and Nobel Peace Laureate Martti Ahtisaari, former President of Finland, will open the Global Economic Symposium i Kiel, Germany on Tuesday, October 1st, 2013, in an Opening Plenary entitled Redefining Success — Why?   

This tone setting session will also feature an opening address by Professor Dennis J. Snowden, President of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (GES), Germany.  Also during this session include Jurgen Fitschen, Co-CEO, Deutsche Bank, Germany, Robert Johnson, president of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (USA), and Roza Otunbayeva, head of the Institute of Roza Otunbayeva International Foundation, Kyrgyz Republic.

The session will be moderated by Nik Gowing, Main Presenter of BBC World News, UK. 

This engagement by Bryant is in preparation for Global Dignity Day on October 16th, 2013, and separately, the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit, 2013, scheduled for Atlanta, Georgia, November 13th-14th, 2013.
