Seeing the look in each of the young person's eyes, as they were presented with their very own HOPE Business In A Box Tablet, compliments of Datawind, was truly priceless.

Last Friday at George Washington High School six lucky students with fantastic business ideas of their own, all graduates and awardees of the HOPE Business In A Box Academy at George Washington, were the lucky recipient of their very own custom Datawind tablet, completely preloaded with all the business tools they will need to build, run and operate their new business.  The tablets have WiFi access to Internet and have phone capability, but most of all, it is symbolic of the outstanding aspirational achievement of this gorup of young winners.

These are the aspirational dreams we celebrate at Operation HOPE. This is the next step beyond our baseline financial literacy work, Banking on Our Future.  This is how we connect the value of education, with the power of aspiration of young people's lives.  This is what and how we plan on amplifying this powerful vision in every public school that's part of Denver Public Schools.

Datawind is an official national partner for Project 5117, and is fully committed to and vested in our local empowerment initiative, Denver 2020.
