Introducing HOPE Business-In-A-Box, and the first founding $50.00 donors to the program for youth entrepreneurship development -- Mr. and Mrs. Spence and Jean Wiles.
Jean and Spence presented this $50.00 check to me on my birthday, establishing themselves as the first donors to this amazing new initiative to inspire a generation of entrepreneurs, small business owners and "self-employment projects." A special thank you as well goes out to Claude and Juanita Bryan, who also made a commitment on the same evening to sponsor another HOPE Business-In-A-Box.
HOPE Business-In-A-Box is a signature initiative of and for our new HOPE Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, all launched during my birthday week. Here is how it works....

Operation HOPE, Atlanta welcomes its newest HOPE Interns to the team, Brionte McCorkle & Chanell Turner, as part of our growing silver rights movement in Atlanta and around the country. These young bright lights, both who attend local colleges and universities, will serve as HOPE Corps volunteers assigned principally to our Banking on Our Future, Atlanta program in local under-served schools. They will also indirectly support the current HOPE Express at Ebenezer, and the coming HOPE Financial Dignity Center, Ebenezer.
A special thank you to Tara Dennis of Banking on Our Future, Atlanta, who works closely with both of these bright lights.

Festivities commence with first Global Dignity Day Forum in Finland on October 19, 2011

HELSINKI/LOS ANGELES – The Global Dignity (GD) co-founders, and Young Global Leader alumni, HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway; Professor Pekka Himanen; and Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman and CEO John Hope Bryant today initiated the Fourth Annual Global Dignity Day celebrations with the inaugural Global Dignity Day Forum in Helsinki, Finland.
Activities included the global launch of the new Global Dignity website, the world premiere of “Dignity” a new song written and composed by evolutionary musician Dave Stewart and performed by up-and-coming lyrical hip-hop artist Nadirah X.
Event host Himanen, a philosopher and Global Dignity co-founder, noted that “The Global Dignity Day Forum is an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and thoughts about the importance of dignity and tolerance.”
“Everyone can agree on dignity, but it is still important to sit down and discuss how our interconnectedness can help us build a better world through Dignity,” HOPE Founder and business bestselling author John Bryant said.
